My research became a backbone and a driving force for creation; through continuous curiosity and questioning of what the sublime might be, I found artists and texts that directly inspired my work and vice versa. For example, through addressing the sublime framework as a mode of perception and questioning whether the sublime is an experience of truth or a blend of truth with something that is only perceptually true. Here, I encountered the book Techniques of the Observer by Jonathan Crary (1992), which was particularly influential in shaping the visual logic of this project.
